QR codes for retail and packaging

Packaging codes that survive small print areas, and codes you can repoint from a launch campaign to an evergreen page.

What works here

Packaging is small, so keep the URL short
Every character in the encoded URL adds modules, and more modules means each one is smaller at the same printed size. A short dynamic link fits where a long product URL will not.
Do not print on the curve if you can avoid it
Bottles and tubs distort the pattern. Where a curve is unavoidable, keep the code small relative to the curve and raise the error correction level.
Plan for the campaign ending
Packaging outlives campaigns. A dynamic code can move from the launch page to an evergreen product page instead of becoming a dead link on stock still on shelves.

Sizes for where you print

Every generator page calculates the exact size from your code’s density. These are the placements that matter for retail and ecommerce.
